@slingmama I loved seeing all those pictures of her. She looked so happy, like she was smiling in some of them. And those adorable puppy ears! It’s obvious how much you love her. 8 years isn’t nearly long enough. I’m so sorry.

@slingmama Riley was a gift from above to enhance your life, as by your post, Riley was successful. Yes it's painful, the loss, the memories - YES it sucks, but consider all the good times, the mini moments that happen and the love that Riley returned.

It warmed my heart so, to hear you call out my name.

My favorite noise in this house...my hearts best toy ...
I wish I could stay longer, and grow older with you...
But the sand in my hourglass, is sadly down to a few...
Just know I loved doing everything together...even howling in tune
In your truck, on the couch, and the long walks under our moon...
I wish I could stay, but my body says it's time...
From the hurt in my bones, to the clouds in my eyes.
To feel your touch once more...says your love is still mine...
To feel your hands cup my face, makes my eyes search for thines.
