PSA: UK WAHL STAINLESS STEEL COMB ATTACHMENTS ARE LABLED DIFFERENTLY

I'm a UK groomer and there are some UK pet owners on here and our comb attachments are labeled differently to American ones. I've added the number, length and colour below and if some one would be so kind as to add the American equivalent in the comments that would be amazing as I have no clue what lengths you guys are on about when you talk about E or 0 Combs.

1: 3mm: red

2: 6mm: dark purple

3:10mm : dark blue

4: 13mm : tan

5:16 mm: yellow

6:19mm: lilac

7:22mm: green

8:25mm : light blue

When people are talking about odd blade combinations this could be why, for example on my cockerpoos I like to use a 5 c/a on the body and a 7c/a on the face and legs (very popular trim in my salon) . This doesn't mean I use a 5f and 7f because this would look awful and I would have some very unhappy clients.

@forwardslider Baby groomer here and I’ve been getting so confused about c/an and the numbering when browsing! Makes sense now that different labels are used!

@forwardslider In Canada we seem to just say the measurements (or at least the vast majority of people I know do??). I don’t really understand the ‘E comb’ thing because it’s not universal at all, it’s only one brand that’s written like that!

@forwardslider Ah I see you also saw the doodle owner post yesterday that said she requested a 4 on the body and 5 on the legs? In Australia we use the 1 to 8 combs as well
