There are days when he ignores 95% of what is going on and I think, "wow, we are making so much progress", and other days where he plants and stares at every single person, pulls at every dog and barks at every noise, including people just saying hi. He also has a lot of anxiety when he sees me in the morning, jumps on me and often injures me (I have tried all kinds of ignoring, it is getting better). He is an excellent dog in every other way. Just so sensitive and insecure.
