@crs_7 Any breed mix can get weird coats. I've got a GSD/basset hound mix. He has a broad strip down his back that's thick GSD fur, and the rest of him has smooth fur like a basset. When he goes into shed, the GSD strip of fur goes crazy and blows its coat while the rest of him sheds lightly. It's been fun seeing his coat develop. I'm just happy only a very small part of him sheds like a GSD, lol.
@milz777 I have a half pit half German shepherd, husky, malamute. For the most part he has the pit coat type but he seems to have undercoar on his hips and right by his butt and on his tail. Those are the only spots he blows any coat lol
@crs_7 We had a mix of husky (which blows it’s undercoat once or twice a year) and pit bull (sheds small amounts constantly), and what we got was a husky-sized undercoat that sheds constantly…
