I did a stupid and locked myself out of my car. AAA sent someone to help. While he was working, we chatted, and I mentioned that I probably was preoccupied. I haven't been myself since our red ACD, P.F. Flyer, passed away (

) . He said he knew the feeling, then added something utterly unexpected: He and his wife had just moved back to town and they needed to re-home their Blue Heeler.

Wait, what?

Seems the place they are in is too small for their family and two dogs, so they need a good home for the Blue.
