My 4 y.o. ate a jar full of bacon fat

We made a lot of bacon and put the fat in an 8oz jar to cool. We went to the store and when we came home we found the jar empty and the dog looking really guilty. Medically speaking, is this okay? Should I just expect a lot of diarrhea?
