Ethical Breeding

@mrjobosco I wanted to add more to the question of the impact to the breeding and dog community. Because of dog overpopulation (which in some areas of the US has actually decreased), the public is beginning to trend towards demonizing breeders. Less folks get into breeding (it is a lot of work and can be a money pit) and this can reduce genetic diversity of well-established breeds.

Ethical breeding practices support better dog ownership and retention. Unethical breeding practices contribute to animal shelters.

Optimally, the vast majority of people would get their dogs from ethical breeders and there would be a small animal services department in our cities.
