Do you get people asking for a reduced price because they have to drive to get a puppy from you?

@sqs1 Can't believe I'm sharing.
Wife had a nice lady and her daughter fly from Oregon to a major airport about 3 hours from us (Duckfoot Ohio). Had a final few minute chat while papers were signed. Lady remarked that she could only get on a waiting list on the West coast (2 years average, unless $$$ is offered). Berniedoodle, F2b - just as covid locked the US down.
They drove back. An email we asked her to send, that they had arrived home in one piece, she mentioned the funds spent start-to-finish, including pup, was still cheaper than than what she expected to drop once her name was called on the waiting list.

@sqs1 I have had people make all sorts of excuses to get a discount, most think you’re hard up and just want to sell a puppy. They’re always surprised when I say, nah, I’m good.

@sqs1 I have driven 16 hours for 2 of my dogs and a whopping 24 for another. If they REALLY wanted the puppy it wouldn't matter how far and they would be willing to drive.
