Yesterday I used silent signals to ask our 5 month old standard poodle puppy to sit on the rug and wait patiently for his lunch. After he ate, I spied my 3 year old daughter who is somewhat intimidated by his size using the same signals to back him up on the rug to sit down again. And he did it! All while they thought I wasn't watching. I'm so proud!
