The day my sisters pup is allowed to go outside (had vaccines) we are going to the beach. So 2 weeks

@imagebeastmarkbeast Yes, it is a off leash beach.

Its in Australia and its called Nudgee Beach, my family likes to go there for fishing, swimming and just for fun.

There is a dog park there and a few people go to. Its never busy there in fact the most people I’ve seen there at a time is like 5 family (its a pretty big beach anyway). Family’s (mostly with dogs) come here.

Anything I could do as a precaution?

@imnotjokingwellnotmostly Bring water, and a dog dish. Don't let the dog drink or consume salt water, it can throw their electrolytes off.

Make sure it's not hot out, don't keep the pup in the sun, provide a shaded area.

Whatever the temperature, you can add 10 degrees to it, that's how it would be for a dog.

@imnotjokingwellnotmostly Keep the pup on leash, you can get an extendable leash if need be, to let the dog run around a little. But don't use this leash for routine walks, they can wrap around your legs, break, they are not safe for every day use.

Best to go early in the day or later, in the evening when the sun isn't as hot.

Keep an eye open for other dogs that may be off leash and avoid.
