Just got a new born puppy only a few weeks old does anyone have advice for this ? He’s scooting instead of using his back legs

I know this isn’t a one size fit all answer is a daschund beagle mix puppy of a few weeks. We were misled that he was 8 weeks n he is not. But regardless he shakes randomly & scoots a lot. We have a vet apt tmrw just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Also he is teeth very bad and swallowed the nipple on the bottle we r feeding him with. Well chewed it off
