Ive had my rescue Gsd only a few days but I still haven't heard a bark, howl or really anything. He's around 1.5 years old we are guessing

@nikki225 I have a severely abused rescue I got in 2014. The first 2 weeks he sat in the corner, wouldn’t eat, wouldn’t look at me. Never barks. He is the sweetest and most passive dog ever. He got better after about 6 months, but is afraid of everything, especially men, pick up trucks, motorcycles, loud noises, not afraid of the vacuum or broom anymore. He loves his house, yard, pool, and my little Shiba. They told me when I adopted him he was special needs, and they were correct. I wish he was more outgoing and accepting of people: he is not but I love him anyway. Someone really did a number on him.
