It’s that time of year… itchy skin

Any tips on what oils or foods help relieve your dogs dry winter skin? My boy is very itchy and j don’t really like to keep him on Benadryl for too long, we usually do cytopoint but can’t afford it right now.

@byron1661 I started putting salmon oil in my buddy’s food and that seems to have helped.

@imagebeastmarkbeast I second salmon or fish oil. Just be sure to look up how much they can have (it’s based on weight). It can be dangerous to overdose. But it has helped our dry girl a ton, and it helps with shedding!

@byron1661 I squeeze 1000mg of fish oil capsule over my girls food in AM. I’ve been doing this for about a year and HUGE improvements.
