@imagebeastmarkbeast I'm not really sure, they might be OK still. It was the prong collar they added to the ban I referred to, it wasn't in the original plan.
@teddy Its a ridiculous ban, the way the culture is in the UK, average dog owners dont just go out and buy ecollars, so making them illegal isnt going to stop those people getting them and hurting a dog through ignorance because they wouldnt get them anyways. The serious people who train with ecollars are not going to stop training with ecollars, no chance. Its just a political circlejerk that doesnt really effect anybody other than driving the price of obtaining an ecollar way up and dog trainers having to operate more discreetly with willing clients
@maygrace Those people will still be able to get hold of one after the ban. Anyone can order one from the US. They wont be able to get a professional to show them the proper way to use it though.
