Also, don't give the original owner the pups, and don't communicate with them anymore. Please find good homes for the pups, but don't feel like you have to give them away for free. You will have to worm them every 2 weeks, get them microchipped and vaccinated. I interview all new owners of puppies I sell, to ensure they can care properly for the puppy, and especially have the correct funds to care for a dog. Anyone saying "I can only afford $xxx for the puppy, but I promise to love them!" is a huge red flag. Dogs can't survive off love alone.
