Did I f up trimming my dog?

So I was trimming my poodle's face, trying to tidy it up myself and give it a cleaner look. One thing lead to another and I suddenly realized I trimmed a lot more than intended and suddenly it doesn't look like a poodle anymore. Am I putting my dog at risk of heatstroke?

@lollylovesyeshua Your poodle isn't double coated, he will be fine.

Obviously make sure he has enough water all the time.

@lollylovesyeshua Clipping or shaving a dog (even a double-coated dog) does not predispose them to heat stroke - that's a myth. Having less insulation (hair/coat) on them helps them cool themselves more effectively! Thermodynamics is pretty clear on that, so your guy should be fine!
