We did a blood test on April 18th for my 8 year old maltipoo and the results came in platelets 1,026, hematocrit 37.4, Na: K ratio 26, potassium 5.8, and cholesterol 122 which h was low. The vet thought it might be an addison disease, we tested for it, it came back negative. His urine is also normal
The vet recommended to do a CBC again in a month. Any thoughts on why the platelets would be abnormally high? I wanna mention that he is being lethargic lately, not being himself so much
