    ACD puppy horrible around children

@retardedchristianknight Number 1 thing you have to do is management: basically make it impossible for him to access children unless you are there to make sure he's only practicing behaviors that you like around them. That will almost always mean using baby gates or a crate to separate him...

Hills science diet adults 1-6 dog breed??

@soul_searching_gal What flavor? If it's chicken & barley, it's a Carolina dog. Chicken & rice is a Shiba. I don't know the others offhand.

    8 months - 28 lbs

@markinsydney If you did Embark and tell them how old she is, they'll guesstimate an adult weight. My mix was 26 pounds at 7 months old and Embark estimated an adult weight of 50. She's about 48 pounds now and a few months shy of 2 years old, so they were pretty much right on!

Do you purchase your dog’s food from Chewy or your local Petco/Petsmart?

@nicoleeadams My picky girl likes Pro Plan Sport Performance Turkey Duck Quail: https://www.purina.com/dogs/shop/pro-plan-sport-performance-30-20-duck-dry-dog-food We went through several Hills and a couple other PPP foods before settling on this one. She loved PPP Sport Chicken & Rice for...

Treats for corgis and honorary corgi (Maltipoo)

@livinnlovin I use whatever my pup finds valuable! This includes (spoiler alert my dog loves food): fruit diced into tiny pieces: apples, strawberries, mulberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, raspberries, persimmons, mangoes, etc - we grow some of these and she forages for them sometimes; just have...

Do you purchase your dog’s food from Chewy or your local Petco/Petsmart?

@donnyb Chewy. I don't trust Amazon and my ADHD is too severe for regular trips to brick and mortar stores 🤷🏻‍♀️ Once, Chewy messed up our autoship order and the kibble bag broke open in transit somehow. I emailed them and the replacement bag arrived the next day. Incredible customer service...

    Calling All Dog Parents!

@sevilodorf Right, and I would add that the question itself is biased and loaded because it suggests that there is a necessary trade-off between ingredient quality (whatever that means) and price, which just isn't true. OP, I would be happy to answer this survey but I literally can't answer...

How to look at dog food critically and avoid the marketing BS

@balkan Love this post! Question for you,: What are "all life stages" foods for? Like do they make it just for lazy people or something? (I'm lazy AF, no shade against lazy people) We had a bear of a time finding an adult food for our picky princess of a dog. She thinks she's a baby bird, so...

    SOS the worlds pickiest dog

@the_morrighan With this current food that she genuinely likes, the longest any particular strike has lasted is about 3-4 days in a row of her only eating one meal (0.75 cups). If she skips dinner she will usually sit pretty for and then annihilate her breakfast. Her worst strikey behavior was...

    SOS the worlds pickiest dog

@word_cuts_deep Have you tried riding out the stubbornness even when you feel like you're back at square one? It really should take longer and longer to end up back at square one once your dog realizes their hunger strike isn't working. This is super common with some breeds. My pup is only a...
