@godfreyebot Dogs don't have races they have breeds. I don't have medical advice because that could be anything but I would get a second opinion from another vet if your current vet does not have a good answer. Hope you figure it out.

@princesst1 It could even be a sensitivity to the bacteria on raw food. I would suggest feeding the cooked chicken and rice, then slowly add other items one at a time until you find what the culprit is.

@alenajoy I wouldn't worry about it but would keep an eye on it. If it gets really red, very swollen, or oozing.

@kostak You can try a little in the beginning and see if it agrees with him but ultimately I would ask your vet about adding anything in the food. Puppy food is specially formulated to have everything a growing puppy would need so normally you don't need to supplement anything unless the vet...

@victoryj There isn't one. Your vet can prescribe reasonably priced medication.

@kostak If it's a large breed freed a large breed puppy formula, otherwise a regular puppy formula is good. Kirkland puppy is fine and Purina Pro Plan puppy or for a cheaper option Purina One puppy.

@unknown404 I would definitely implore you to find a trainer. It will help immensely to guide you on a plan for how to tackle this within the dogs current capabilities.

@lllgt Can you take him on a longer walk? In the morning I try to take my dogs son a 40 minute walk so they have lots of different places to go and we keep moving which gets their bowels moving. Just walking to a patch of grass probably isn't enough. I would try to take your dog on 3 walks a day...

@gypsysfriend Is he on monthly tick oral medication? I find the ticks don't really bite when they are on the oral medication and if they do bite they die pretty quickly and fall off, no issues.

@unknown404 Have you spoken with a trainer? It would be best to seek out help with someone that can see and evaluate the dog. Is it a small dog that can't wear a martingale collar?
