@mstyle00 If they are healthy their coats will grow back but it may take awhile. The undercoat will come back before the topcoat so just make sure it’s kept brushed out

Just this week I have seen one at the rescue I volunteer at, 2 6 month old puppies at the local Humane Society, and 2 being “rehomed” on Nextdoor. It makes me very sad for all the dogs and wondering what the next trendy breed will be

@chris_1989 I’m completely full but I think a few local groomers have either retired recently or done a BIG price increase. Getting a lot of new customers

@carl78 Yes, it really sounds like a dryer seizure, pretty common with poodles and cockers. The groomer needs to use a Happy Hoodie and a low fluff dryer

@campos My only concern is that if they are very similar in age it can be a lot time wise and financially to deal with multiple elderly dogs. But otherwise it sounds like you have a good handle on things

@evall I live in AZ, in the summer most people have their dogs clipped short even if they’re not matted
