Hello all! My 3 year old Golden Retriever is having bilateral TPLO surgery later this month (one side at a time spaced 6 months apart). I’ll be following the vet’s recommendations but wanted to crowdsource from y’all’s personal experience.
I purchased a lick sleeve and we will be crating her at the beginning of recovery. Unfortunately, our house is small and we don’t have a recovery area without beds/couches. We also own a high-energy German Shepard mix (~2 years) so I plan to keep them separated during recovery as much as possible to avoid injury. If anyone has been through something similar, I would love to hear your tips/tricks/recommendations!
