TPLO recovery w/fear aggressive dog

Any advice on caring for a fear aggressive dog post TPLO surgery who is triggered when his paws and legs are touched… which is tough bc how can you care for him and do that at-home physical therapy work when he won’t let you handle his leg. Have not scheduled the surgery yet due to being freaked out about this recovery (selfish but plz don’t judge). Hate that my little guy is suffering but I need a plan or at least an idea of a plan first. Any suggestions??

@jetspice Did your vet leave you with a prescription for a mild sedative? If not, I would ask for one just for his recovery period. It'll reduce pressure as the surgery heals and make care a little easier for you. Along with cooperative care, I think you should be good.
