Tips for anxious dog

Looking for any tips on helping a dog with anxiety. Have a 3.5 year old corgi and a year or so ago she started becoming very anxious of outside noises to the point she hides in bathroom all day and refuses to go outside in our fenced in backyard while I work remotely. Once 4/5 pm hits she usually snaps out of it and will go out but from hours 7 am to 5 pm she will not go outside for any reason. She is a small dog about 25 pounds so I know she has to go she just won’t due to her anxiety. Any help would be great!

@myredeemerlives7 If this has come on recently I would consult a vet about possibly medicating her or consulting a trainer. I have an anxious girl too and doing it on your own is really hard. If you do anything to increase exposure work SLOW!!! Don’t get frustrated when she doesn’t make fast progress.
