Royal Canin Cardiac

My dog is currently on the Hill's Science Diet h/d formula for heart disease, which is very low sodium. I noticed Royal Canin makes an early cardiac formula for heart disease, but it has "moderate" sodium levels. After some googling it does appear that Royal Canin makes a regular cardiac formula (as opposed to early cardiac), but I haven't been able to find it for sale anywhere on chewy, petco etc. And their store locator doesn't seem to be working for me either...

Has anyone tried this formula? Is there some reason it doesn't seem to be readily available for sale in the US?

@rebecca21 Yeah that one isn't available in the US.

I believe this was one of the diets they discontinued because of supply chain issues in 2020 with the idea that other diets in their lien will fill that need. There were pet owners who uh... strongly disagreed... when their diets were discontinued.

Purina does have a cardiac care line you could consult your vet about.
