My Jug (pug 1/4 jack Russell) will b 9 soon .
Recently he has started reverse sneezing all the time . After eating or drinking . His been to the Vet got a X-ray & a injection for steroids . A course of antibiotics & antihistamine. Still nothing and his still the same .
He as a little clear discharge from his nose .. he looks sad all the time .
The Vet has said the next step is a endoscopy. But I’ve already spent $600 and his still the same .
I feel like the vet is just ticking boxes of her checklist . Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do ?

@stephny Did anything change recently?

Food, food bowl, candle used inside, detergent, soap used to wash floor or carpet, has the dog walked in a new area outside? Have the seasons changed and a new flower/pollen are in the air? New animal or person in the house? Moved houses? New city?

You can try to isolate to see if it’s something external like this, but there is no guarantee it is.

@chrissyboy I have stopped using the new floor wash I have .
Apart from that nothing has changed .
I’ve even stopped wearing perfume.
I’ve tried everything and lost for what I can do to help him

@stephny When my puppy reverse sneezes, I actually hold his nostrils for a few seconds until he forces to breathe through his mouth. Usually works 99% of the time and its gone.
