I pulled the trigger and bought the neon leash that said NO DOGS for my pup who reacts to other dogs.
Weather was crummy so we hit a small local state park knowing it would be quiet. It was surprisingly busy, but everyone gave us space! Everyone! We were able to smoothly pass everyone on the path with zero reaction because nobody at all interacted with us despite how many walked past. Nobody let their dog get in her face. They heeled on the opposite side and kept moving. Someone even smiled at me and told me she's doing a good job! We must have passed up to 10 other dogs, including a group of two!!!
I could weep happy tears. I know not every day will be like this but I'm so relaxed and so is my dog.
