Hey everyone,

So we have a 16 week pure breed Aussie that’s been eating this brand since we got him at 10 weeks. Digging into it more, we aren’t too sure if he should be eating this formula? we don’t have him the most active right now (rough 1 hr walk daily and mental stimulation daily). We tried weening into the puppy under one year lamb and rice and it absolutely destroyed his stomach so we went back to the original formula. A week ago he weighed in at 19.6 lbs and I’ve done the rib check and he seems at healthy weight but still seems a little too thin. Nonetheless, any suggestions on moving to a different formula would be appreciated !

@harmony96 That’s a fine formula to feed because it’s for all life stages. Puppies that age are pretty gangly so unless your vet is concerned about his growth I wouldn’t necessarily be alarmed.

You could try Purina sensitive skin and stomach, they have a puppy version. My personal go to after that would be a Hills puppy diet
