So we recently adopted a stray puppy at 1 month old. I had been taking care of the mother and ither pups too and they all were in good health. When we brought him home he was extremely active, curious and playful and never showed any signs of any neurological disorders. After we got him vaccinated( at the 6-7 week mark), he became drowzy and slightly lazy as the vet had predicted. The next day (less than 24hrs after the vaccination) he started foaming at the mouth and made continuous chewing motions and would go stiff. We immediately took him to the vet and he said he has a mild case of epilepsy(still not sure about this diagnosis). After we could back he had atleast 4 more seizures in a span of 12 hrs amd the last two seizures lasted abt 30seconds and the puppy had invoulantary bowel movement. The doctor has prescribed Nurokind pet syrup, 2.5 ml twice a day. The first time we administered the syrup he got a seizure and threw up the medicine. After the second dose went in he hasn't had any seizure but its only been like 6 hours.
Has anyone had an experience like this? Could it be a serious neurological disorder or could it be due to lack of vitamins and minerals?
If this is a side effect of the vaccine, does it eventually resolve on its own or is it a lifeling condition..pls help!

@allie1313 Unfortunately, the answer to your question is yes

It could be a neurological issue, it could be a virus, it could be a vaccine reaction, it could be etc...
