Puppy Hack: Invest in some whiskey Ice cubes for longer entertainment

Our girl Roo (4 month old Aussiechon) loves playing with ice cubes but they melt so fast. I had the idea to give her one of my large whiskey glass ice cubes and she loves it! She’s been running around the yard with it for a while now and since they’re big and dense they last a while!

@plimer_billo We just froze water in a 1 Liter yogurt container. That lasts for a good long while.

@plimer_billo Freezing chicken stock is great too—I give my pup the giant frozen stock cubes when I want her to settle down and cool off after playing. The licking relaxes her.

@jeannine Yes! I put chicken stock ice sticks into Kongs and fill the empty space with apple sauce that also gets frozen. They LOVE it.

@acedeck Highly recommend the big cubes! You can get a silicon mold cheap on Amazon!

@plimer_billo i have a couple of the big sphere ice cube trays and my corgi likes to skitter the ice ball through the house, or on the deck.
