To give some insight into my training model - my goal is to help develop the communication and bond between human-dog so the human fully understands the dog and sets them up for success. There is a lot of work learning to read a dog's body language and behaviors; we incorporate play, trust building exercises, influence exercises, impulse control exercises. These allow the dog to keep their dog like behaviors but also help them learn appropriate skills to be adaptable in most normal life situations. I do not use fear, pain, force, intimidation, etc.
