Can anyone recommend a good over the counter flea treatment for a 12yr old 20lb frenchton?
Since we moved back in w/ my parents in March-and exchanged our walks for their backyard- my baby has been tormented by fleas; scratching all day n night, using the boards under the bed for places she can’t reach, n licking her feet constantly. went to the vet in march n he gave her a shot and a pill that lasted 2 months-but @ the time I couldn’t afford more than 1.
So 2 months later n the scratching has returned, plan to call the vet on Monday but is there anything to help her til then? Been giving her Benadryl but doesn’t seem that effective, what’s the max dose?
