Northwest Naturals Nuggets kcal/oz and kcal/kg not adding up…or am I an idiot?

I’m looking at the Northwest Naturals Freeze Dried Lamb Recipe Nuggets. 12oz bag which is 340.19g. Bag says 5,220kcal/kg and 177kcal/oz. So if the bag is 12oz that should mean the bag has 2,124kcal. But if you go by grams, it would be 1,775kcal per bag.

My first thought was maybe it means oz in volume, not weight, but that would make even less sense since there’s minimum 3 cups worth, probably 4+. But even at 3 cups that’s 24oz which would mean the bag would have 4,248kcal and be even more off.

I feel like I gotta be missing something but it’s fairly basic math…
