So I bought Bite Block Naturals’ mosquito repellent spray that has 2% Citronella oil, 0.4% Lemon oil, 0.2% Andiroba oil, and 0.2% Eucalyptus (including this for more context). Now I’ve read that Citronella oil and Eucalyptus oil are toxic to dogs, but there’s also this article that says Eucalyptus is safe for dogs when diluted properly. So now I’m confused and scared because I used the spray on me last night when my dog was in the same room with me. I’m afraid as she for sure inhaled the scent.
Is it still safe to use the mosquito repellent since it has low Eucalyptus and Citronella content? Or should I stop using it?
