looking for advice and similar experiences. My dog scratches open his wound which is right next to his right eye. Any ideas of how to sleep at relative ease tonight? I’m afraid he opens it when I’m asleep.

@judym Gotta go cone unfortunately and you’ll probably feel bad about it, but the dog will get used to it and it’s really not so bad. Definitely better than him getting an infection near his eye which sounds pretty serious. Not sure if you’ve been putting anything on the wound, but if not it probably would be beneficial to call the vet and see if you can get some ointment to help it heal quicker.
