Advice needed! Sorry for a somewhat lengthy post.

I have a 9 m/o Australian Shepherd-Border Collie mix. She has been very good at all training processes, and has been house broken since about 10 weeks old. She has slept in her cage since the day we got her, and stays in there regularly throughout the day most days, but usually no longer than about 4 hours.

This has all been fine until now. It started with her peeing on her bed a couple of times recently, then destroying the bed leaving her without one. Now almost anytime we are gone she will pee in her cage, and try to get the cage pan out of the cage. She never chews up anything when left out of her cage, but anything that is left in the cage with her is destroyed. Today we took her to the dog park for 2 hours, and she fell asleep as soon as she got back home. We took her out to use the bathroom, put her in her cage for a few hours while running some errands, and once we came back she had peed again and managed to get the cage pan out of the cage.

Any help/advice on what to do about this would be greatly appreciated! I just can't understand why she was great for so long and just now starting to do this.
