Hi all!
My 1 y/o boxer was spayed yesterday. The vet mentioned that he saw a small amount of fluid in her belly.
Since I brought her home at 6 months old, she’s struggled with gaining weight (she’s very skinny), diarrhea, a UTI, and overall low energy. She had some blood tests done a couple of months ago, and she had low protein levels - we’ve been treating with B-12 injections. Her blood test was otherwise normal.
We’ve been to the vet multiple times for these issues, and have treated with various holistic and traditional methods.
The vet wants to schedule an appointment for after she’s healed from the spay to further investigate the abdominal fluid. I’m worried about my sweet girl — do any of you have experience with this or know what this might be?!
