8 y/o chihuahua peeing in house all of a sudden?

Our back door is always open for the dogs to go in and out. Over the weekend, my oldest dog peed in the house 5 times and even once right on the door that leads outside. I’m at a loss, we’ve taken him outside and immediately he pees in the house right when we come back in. I have no idea what to do.
