My dog is an 8.5 year old Great Dane in generally good health other than obvious signs of aging. She’s has CT skins of her chest and stomach within a year and a recent heart exam with very very early signs of DCM.
We also recently added Hill’s prescription diet I/d food to her meals which she also used to eat as a puppy. She’s eating 75% Hills now and 25% Canidae All stages.
We live in Florida and the storms bother her and cause her to shake in a corner until they’re over. Very often after she’ll throw up or have diarrhea from the anxiety.
Before bed tonight she had some diarrhea but not extremely watery, more like mucus-y soft serve icecream texture.
In the middle of the night, for the first time ever, she threw up bile with a lot of specks of blood in it. She’s acting normal otherwise and went back to sleep. Tail was even wagging. Picture in link below. Any ideas? Thanks so much in advance!
