I have a toy poodle who is 7 months old. He has been scratching himself since he came to our home for the first time. He has dry skin as well but there is no redness or any abrasions where he itches. The vet eliminated any dermatitis or fleas etc. We bathe him every 3 weeks and he has no ticks.
We thought it might be some food allergy so we shifted to grain free kibble and the scratching still continued. We shifted him to some vegan kibble to test if he is allergic to meat or eggs but even then the scratching continued. We eliminated kibble all together and fed him boiled veggies, pulses and chicken and the scratching still continues.
I’m so frustrated with this. I just want to help him. Any advise?
