2 y/o active border collie heeler mix

Okay I just want to preface this by saying I don’t want criticism about the brand and I will talk to her vet at her appointment at the end of January this is just for now.

I have a 2 year old border collie heeler mix. She is quite active we train in agility and rally together and just general obedience at home and has a border collie housemate that she plays with a lot. Plus her Pomeranian brother. She weighs about 31.5 lbs. I’m feeding what the food recommends for a dog her size to eat but she still finishes her brothers food and licks out her bowl and acts like she’s still hungry after feeding. Currently she gets 2 cups a day of Stella and chewy wild red with grains red meat recipe raw blend. plus treats. She’s not skinny by any means but I just want to make sure that until I can talk to her vet about it that I’m feeding the right amount.

@regina1961 Try Pro Plan sport. My active shepherd does well on the Small Bites Lamb and Rice 27/17. If your dog needs more the 30/20 varieties are good.

@regina1961 442 calories per cup so I think that’s an appropriate amount to feed. Be thankful for the food drive. Makes training so much easier, doesn’t it?
