So my 2.5-year-old rescue dog has never had an issue knowing when to go outside/to the bathroom. I usually work from home but have been traveling a lot for work and my significant other leaves for work at 330-4AM.
This pretty much started when I was away, so we thought it was maybe because of routine changes or separation anxiety. The past 2 nights, I’ve been woken up and caught him peeing in the house. It’s been rainy and as a puppy, for whatever reason, he would not go outside to use the bathroom when it was raining, but I thought we had gotten past that as well. I’m not sure what the issue is… We thought maybe he didn’t feel well but everything is normal otherwise.
Does anyone have experience with this situation and how to navigate it?
