@spacelady The one hard and fast rule for ACDs is a tired dog is a good dog :) Forced rest for these guys can get crazy. On the second or third day after getting fixed my guy got the zoomies which included leaping one couch and using the other as a launch pad to get onto the dining table.

@spacelady Well some of them do settle a bit, some of them settle even more. Usually around 2 years ;) Don't expect her to settle down until you are the one in charge

@freeinchristjesus Oh and what you're seeing is the same as my 3yo. I recommend antlers as chew toys and some soft-ish bouncy balls for fetch inside. When you've had enough do some down-stays or other training.

@freeinchristjesus Swimming always seems to knock ours out for the rest of the day. Get some floaty toys and give it a go (hopefully your pup likes water)
