@thesensorystore I'm not sure why some people are suggesting that crate training will make a puppy unable to settle anywhere else. This isn't really a concern. Some puppies will have a harder time settling in general, and these are often the same puppies who need more crating for safety reasons...

@billie18 In addition to following the instructions on the puppy food bag for now, make sure you're using a proper measuring cup. A red solo cup is far larger than an actual unit-of-measurement cup (I would guess as much as double the size).
