    @primordiarch Thank you so much for good advice! Wet wipes need to be packed for sure!! And the Big water bottle is a good idea😃 it's better to be prepared. The fans and ice are good suggestions for others bumping into this thread flying in heat- things are pretty cold here and the planes...

    @kaylaat Thank you- they are using the pee pad method which I won't back home, but for the journey it's v practical!

    @bobo_mcpherson Will have maybe an hour or so in the airport before boarding so will bring a toy and try playing to get some energy out- thank you!

    @sherelle Standard poodle- two flights at hour flight each, with a one hour connection. Licking being soothing is a good point. I will see if we kept our previous dogs licky mat! Also won't fill up the stomach so much as feeding lots of treats minimizing poop accident possibilities!
