    @brittneynt14 Sorry, realise you don't want to give up on the dog. But that is really scary behaviour. I have kids myself and know it's extremely difficult to watch toddlers all the time, and pets. Maybe start by talking to the place you got the dog from.

    @brittneynt14 Personally, after the amount of incidents/ attacks you've described, I would look at rehoming the dog to a child free home. The situation is not your fault, at all.

    @garnernathaniel 1) Buy XL! 2-4) Chat to your vet. Ours has said wait until our girl goes through at least 2 heat cycles. She's almost done with number 2 now. She's 15 months old You'll probably get conflicting advice on this one. 7) Lots of chewy toys.

    @mccree79 No, for the main reason due to you living in an apartment. These dogs take a lot of physical space in your home. Can't recommend another breed sorry, if your main reason is personal protection. I could recommend a family dog breed. :)

    @crucker2 Yes. I've had a number of different dogs/breeds over the years, including a lab. Our German Shepherd (13 months) is as you've described. Always up in our business. She's very smart. Loves any sort of games. And is incredibly athletic. Far more than a lab. So exercise is a must. Also...

    Considering a GSD

    @sammyt Agree on the bonding and the rest of what you're saying, don't agree on the anxiousness. Ours has showed little to no sign of any anxiousness.
