@elephantparadise “i wanted a dog with long hair that’s why i got a dog with long hair!” a very large percentage of doodle owners should not have a doodle. they see a teddy bear looking dog and think it just stays that way on its own.

@joyathome i feel like house call is a lot different. i’d be okay with it in that instance. but not in a busy salon. i feel like a lot of owner anxiety would be relieved if everyone could educate them about why they’re acting that way (like you do). i love when the dog isn’t reacting at all...

@steve333 i love when i quote them a time (2-3 hours) and they show up after 2 without being called. even after i tell them, we. will. call. you. when. they. are. done!!!

@setsurinvuch i had a blue heeler straight up nibbling on my ear and licking my neck when i was brushing him out. i was like yeahhhh we’re done here 😭 my coworker was like “he’s just showing appeasing behavior”. no ma’am he was not!

@jcc19240 they act like they’re dropping off their dog at the butcher shop. like ma’am, the only thing that might end up butchered is his haircut if you keep acting like this stressing him out. OMG the sniffing. or if they’re males their pp is just constantly out. like please stop 😭

@humansmeagol technically yeah. i’d just take her to a groomer or even the vet so that they can get as close as possible to that quick without making her bleed but still exposing it just barely for it to work.

@anton_james don’t forget when the quicks are super long and you can’t get much off and they don’t understand that IS as short as possible 🥴

(vent incoming) personally, mine is when owners come in before their dog is done. or when owners call 1 single hour after dropping off their massive doodle asking if they’re done yet. like. we quoted a few hours and told you we would call you. did we call you? no. did we forget to call you? no...
