    The "Dogloaf" (x-post /r/Puppy101)

@money512 I wouldnt worry about it too much until you get a very thorough vetcheck. Sounds like the poor thing is terrified. :( our bc pup was very much like that, and this was 25 years ago before we learned about pos reinforcement so we put a harness on with straps under the legs and just...

14 m/o given both rabies vaccines, same visit

@fogprince If the shot was two different strains, it shouldn't cause a problem. Its akin to getting two regular vaccines at the same time. Some dogs react (as in, have a stronger immune reaction) to the rabies vaccine, so maybe that could cause a problem? I'd monitor him for fever, swelling...

13 w/o puppy getting increasingly fussy in crate, but can’t have bedding or soft toys inside or she will pee on them

@lapiito Sounds like it is too long. Some small dogs need to see every 90 minutes or even less. For that one I would definitely follow the Dunbar protocol, with both a short term and long term confinement area, so she can potty on an appropriate pad. I highly recommend a small kiddie pool...

@richardson217 Thanks for the info on pano. It may have been that- found out later she had eaten a bunch of cat food while she was playing at a friend's house and they didn't think to tell me. She may have had a growth spurt! Forced her to rest for a week and she is all better now. (she also...

Great Dane puppy seems a bit gimpy, doesn't want to stand up after naps.. Normal? x-post to r/greatdanes

@patriarch28 I will when they open. They don't have any experience with danes either, and so far everything I've been worried about is normal. I'm hoping to hear from other large/giant breed owners.

Great Dane puppy seems a bit gimpy, doesn't want to stand up after naps.. Normal? x-post to r/greatdanes

Hey guys, my 4 month old female pup seems to have a hard time getting her hind end up in the morning. She also seems a bit limpy when we walk on cement. She shows no tenderness on palpation, and as soon as she hits the grass or carpet she wants to run. Growing pains? Should I worry? I've had...

Weight carrying for a 7 month old pit mix

@intrigued20030 I used weight for that reason with my gsd, and pit breeds make good draft animals, but wait until he is at least a year old.
