    @falconeye Thank you for responding! We definitely do work on this as well, but I was just curious if there were any other tools outside of what we had already tried to get him better at recall. I might try to get a different leash like you suggested, it’s tough to find one he hasn’t destroyed 😭...

    @snowlucario I think that’s exactly what it was unfortunately. And we were honesty surprised considering this trainer says they work specifically with rescue dogs

    @arabellex I think part of our issue is our dog is deaf and simply just did not understand what we were asking of him. He also startles more easily than other dogs might due to the lack of hearing, and the methods we were using were scaring him, not helping him communicate with us
