    @champollion Find a groomer that shows dog, does not have to be your breed. A dog show person would know not to trim a coated breed. Avoid pet groomers!

    @rickt65 You are less likely to cut a dog using a 30 or 40 than any other blade. The lower the number the larger the spacing between the teeth. You can catch a piece of the ear in those spaces. It is impossible to do this with a 30 or 40.

    @kayleighbethh To properly groom a cocker you need a clipper that you can change out the blades. Use a 7 for the neck and back. A 10 for the face, skull, top of ears and sanitary. A 30 or 40 for pads of feet and inside of ears. The reason I always used a 40 on the inside of the ears was to...

    Home setup for standard poodle question

    @keonhanh I prefer Universal Slickers, greyhound comb & kobalt scissors. Double K forced air dryer is a must. Used Kelco Shampoo’s because the are all natural. No need to buy 2 clippers just put a 40 on yours for beautiful feet. Kelco makes a clipper that goes from corded to cordless.

    @innerinnocence I have seen these type of harness used on large breed dogs without a problem. They are almost impossible to get out of due to them being a vest

    Trash can to trap fur clumps when grooming indoors

    @dragonskorn Spray them with hair spray. I used hair spray on my brooms. Gathers hair great!
