    Permanent shedding

    @tcoburn Yes, they shed permanently. Hair everywhere! But my two acds are the best smelling dogs I have ever had. They don't smell like dog not their bodies or breath. But vacuuming is a daily chore.

    Rescue Heeler Advise

    @hypnos97 Recently took in a rehomed 3 year old acd male. He is fabulous. I am learning his quirks which are different than my 1.5 year old. I was hesitant to not go with a puppy, but this has worked out very well so far.

    @jakeinatx He will adjust to you not being there. I have a rehomed heeler and he adjusted to being with me instead of his former owner of 3 years.

    @oncelostbutnowfound Don't use anything for mine in northern Illinois. But used to have an IGH and they are very susceptible to cold!

    @differentviews I have two. One from a puppy and one rehomed at 3 years old. The puppy is now 2.5 and didn't go through anything like you are describing. The 3 year old is a bit of a nipper, when he is excited, but is very compliant to voice commands. We just have to watch out for the sneak...
